Christmas 2016 Blog

Hi everyone,

So the season has now finished for 2016. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster to be honest.

I began working with my new coach Daniel Haughian in the winter and slowly but surely I have started to get my swing back and my confidence started to rise again. This has shown in the second half of the season, being a bit more like how I can play. The scores didn’t immediately change but slowly my game started to turn around.

I got to play with one of my good friends Tim and Tracey Dickens in the pro am at the Let access tournament in Stoke by Nayland, thank you for playing and I had a great time.

I finished the season off strongly and recieved an invitation to play in the 3e Actuaries Open in Mongomo. It was an amazing experience with our tournament running along side the men and in the first two rounds we got to play with the men which was really enjoyable. The whole week organised by Olawale was amazing and will be something I remember forever. The golf course was one of the best I have ever played (we were the only people to have played on it since last year). After the first round a few of us got asked to hit tee shots for the president, that in itself was an honour.

We also took some gifts for the local children to give as presents.

I came 4th in the tournament and was really pleased with how my game had progressed, really looking forward to going back next year to Mongomo.

I am hoping to go to South Africa in February to play in 3 of the sunshine tour events for some winter sun and competative rounds before another season of playing in Europe.

I would like to thank my coach Daniel Haughian for all your hard work this season and look forward to another season working hard on my game.

Also like to thank Röhnisch for your help with clothing for this season.

Now its time for my favourite part of the year CHRISTMAS!! So i hope you all have a Merry Christmas and wonderful New Year

2016 Season

Hi everyone,

It’s a brand new season, and I am really looking forward to it starting.

It has been a busy winter working on my golf and fitness.

I am really happy with the work I have done on my swing with my coach Daniel Haughian.

I wasn’t happy with the way I was hitting it towards the end of last year and I feel the progress this winter has gone well.

My first tournament will be Terre Blanche in France at the end of the month, it will be my first time playing there and it looks a great venue to start the season!

I’ve learnt a lot from last season on where my game needs to be, so I have spent a lot of the winter working on those areas.

Let’s hope for some warmer weather soon.

Going to be a good year!

First tournament 2015 Season!!

After a long winter I am off to my first tournament of the year this weekend. I start the 2015 season in Dinard France, which I played last year so I am excited to go back again.

I am feeling very positive about my game ahead of the new season, lots of hard work with my new coach on my swing during the winter, so its taking shape nicely.

I would like to say thank you to Titleist Footjoy and Trion Z for their help for the new season.

I am very positive that this year will be a good one!

Blog December 2014

Hey so this is my first blog!

So my first year on tour has officially finished,  got to say I enjoyed every minute of playing in tournaments all over the world. And with it being my first year I have learnt a great deal,  including, travelling from country to country week after week, to how to prepare best for each tournament.  Also learning what parts of my game need to get better to be one of the best. I think I experienced everything from the airport losing my golf clubs to the hire car breaking down this year but you can’t beat playing some of the best courses out there.

I finished top 30 of the order of merit on the LET Access, with a good end to the season finishing in 8th in the Azores and 11th in the last tournament at Stoke by Nayland. My best finish of the year was joint 7th in Spain, with various other top 20 finishes throughout the year.

Looking forward to Christmas, and working hard on my game throughout the off season ready for a great year next year.

Merry Christmas!
